The Research and Creativity Unit in Faculty of Science for Girls is one of the units that were created to be a monument scientifically and to achieve the vision, mission of King Abdulaziz University, and aims to improve and enhance the development of cognitive, mental and exciting the energy of students to serve the nation and keep up with development movement vast areas of the various sciences in the world with a commitment to educational policy and enforcement of national trends and the aspirations of the state. We hope to have this site on the Web to link between students and the unit. We ask God Almighty to grant success to our college to get to the desired excellence and achievement.

Unit Director’s Word:
In the name of God the merciful, a blessings and peace to Ashraf prophets and senders creates a Research and Creativity Unit with the aim of enhancing scientific research and creativity of undergraduate and postgraduate students, to support and encourage them to participate and attend scientific gatherings within and outside the Kingdom. We ask God Almighty to rate us to complete this work fully and reach the highest students in research and creativity.

The Unit Creation :
The Research and Creativity Unit Was created by administrative decision No. (31(ق/and date of 21/06/1433 H, by delegate from the vice dean of Science Faculty for Girls - a branch colleges A. D Nada Hassan Al- Tauati Al-Qurashi, to unit director / Dr. Jehad Mustafa Yousef
Unit Tasks:
• Include the determinants of scientific research in the various colleges take a student about topics to be discussed in front of her fellow students or at a scientific meeting open.
•Guidance and help college students to develop and adopt the ideas and the discovery of the students of exceptional quality in research and inventions and selection of teachers who can develop these ideas to the students and supervise the owners of these ideas.
•Coordination with the various Departments in order to develop operational plans for research students.
•Hold a forum for each college in the first semester to select elite at the college level to participate in the Scientific Forum at the university level.
•Involve students in research projects outstanding.
•Choice of outstanding research to participate in the Scientific Forum at the university level.
•Coordinate with business incubators to build projects and excellent ideas in preparation for conversion to a commercial product.
•Encourage students to attend conferences and forums held at least university students and conferences held by the Ministry of Higher Education in the Kingdom and abroad.
•Prepare awareness sessions for students in the importance of facilitating patent and how to register to foster a spirit of invention and innovation.
